Hello! I’m Cathy Layne and I’ve been honing my novel-writing skills for more than ten years now. Back in 2012 I started this blog as a record of my journey to publication and (hopefully) beyond. I’m getting closer. I’ve also spent the last twenty years living in various Asian countries. Fifteen of those years were spent in Japan, a country that has left a deep mark on my heart and on the things I write, both in my fiction and in my blog posts.
